I am seeing an ever growing trend in interactive media that is bothering me. Unfortunately, user engagement from web 2 is over the decline. I understand many industry folks will challenge me here considering that the registration numbers to user generated content services come in hockey stick growth mode (as of this post.) However, the portion of registered users engaging in the services as measured by clicks, time spent, comments, etc. is on professional compensation. I recognize the argument that this is a great all natural trend to be the early adopter "geeks" have a high penetration of engagement and newer social media adopters far more lurkers and customarily have less involvement.
In today's troubling economic climate, decision makers are in search of new, inexpensive methods of tapping to market. Large numbers of businesses are turning to social media services like Facebook. As soon as everybody got a whiff of how promising best social media service could be for promoting their product, however, things changed drastically. Now, it's not enough to just create web 2 presence, in addition, you need different your presence count. As well as requires not only a free sign-up. You need to learn the way to use social media effectively. So now the baker can search for tweets about cookies as part of his city, he sees Jan is eating cookies right now, he contact Jan and offers one website for all social media services her to you can visit and a few free cookies when she is around. Jan comes next day, tries the cookies, and now Social Media has done it's career. One option you stumble on is backlinks. You are told that such links should contain terms. Keywords are search terms people type into search engine boxes. Strategy is you will be seen by search engines as an expert for the house you're stay. Now, most small businesses, at a minimum, have an online prescence even if it's just one page. I encourage clients to "write-once" and then take that content and use it over various communications tv channels. So if you're writing a blog for your website, certain that you some or all of that content is used as well on Linked in, Twitter and additional social media you social media services might support. You can advertise on the web cheaply on Google, which handles 80% of all search traffic globally, with Google AdWords - again, also a computer device the professionals use, but rather than using their expensive keyword listings, yow will discover cheap keywords and limit your budget exactly about what you desire to drive a reasonably priced level of traffic inside your site - we will hide this from a future post, since it is a subject by itself.
